• The applicant should visit the official website of EPFO at https://www.epfindia.gov.in.
• The home page will appear, go to the “Services” tab and click on the “For Employees” option.
• On the next page, click the “Know Your Claim Status” option under the “Services” tab.
• You must click the “Click here to be redirected to the Passbook application”  link on the next page.
• EPF Passbook & Claim Status Sign-In page will open; here, enter your “UAN / Universal Account Number”, “Password”, and “Captcha Code” and then click on the “Login” button.

• Once you have logged into the portal, you will find the “View Clain Status” option.
• Now, you must click on that option and view your claim status.

How To Track EPFO Claim Status Using UMANG App/Website?

Employees can track their EPFO Claim Status using the UMANG mobile app or website. To track your EPFO Claim Status, follow the below steps.

• Download the UMANG app on your mobile phone.
• Or you can visit the official website of the UMANG app at https://web.umang.gov.in. 
•  The home page will appear, Click on the “Services” tab, and you can search by typing the department name as “EPFO” and clicking on it.
• Or you can scroll down the home page and directly click on the “EPFO” tab under the “Trending” section.
• The EPFO page will open, here Scroll down the page and click on the “Employee Centric Services – Open” link under the “Services” section.
• UMANG login page will appear; here, you can log in with “MPIN” or log in with “OTP”. You have to choose your preferred option.
• When you select ‘Log in with OTP’, you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the same into the respective OTP field and log into your EPFO account.
• If you select ‘Log in with MPIN’, you must enter your ‘Mobile Number’ and ‘MPIN’ and then click the “Login” button. 
• Tap on EPFO i.e., on the right side of the home page under the Trending section.
• After logging into the page, click the “Track Claim” tab under the “Employee Centric Services” section.

• A new window will appear; enter your “UAN” here, and you will receive an OTP. Enter the same into the  “OTP” field and click the “Submit” button.
• Then you will get the EPFO Claim Status details on the screen.

How To Check EPFO Claim Status Through SMS?

Applicants can also check their EPFO Claim Status by sending an SMS from the mobile number linked to the UAN portal. The employees must pay attention to the SMS format before sending it to a required number to check their claim status accurately.

SMS needs to be sent to 7738299899. The SMS format is “EPFOHO UAN LAN”. Here, ‘LAN’ is the language code in which users want to access their EPFO claim status details.

How To Check EPFO Claim Status Through A Missed Call?

Employees can also check their EPFO Claims Status by giving a missed call from their registered mobile number to 011-22901406. Employees must link their mobile number with their Permanent Account Number (PAN), Aadhaar, and bank account information on the UAN Portal.

The employee will not incur any cost because the call will automatically disconnect after two rings. The EPFO Claim Status details will be sent via SMS to the employee’s registered mobile number.
