India Post GDS Results 2023: Government of India, Ministry of Communications Department of Posts has released notification number 17-21 / 2023 – GDS on 27th January 2023. As per the notification, online applications are invited from the eligible applicants for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak ( GDS ), Branch Post Master ( BPM ), and Assistant Branch Post Master ( ABPM ). The application process started on 27th January 2023 and closed on 16th February 2023. The Edit / Correction window is available from 17th February 2023 to 19th February 2023. The applications are to be submitted online only. The official website is www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in

How To Check Shortlisted Candidates List For GDS 2023?

A list of Shortlisted candidates for document verification is released for all the circles. If anyone wants to check the list, follow the below steps.

• Visit the official website of  India Post. ie., www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
• Go to ‘Candidate’s Corner”, press the “Shortlisted Candidates” option and then click on  “List of Shortlisted Candidates” under your state.

• The list will appear in the PDF format. You have to check the details.

How To Check Selection List PDF Of India Post GDS Results 2023?

The following are the steps to check the Selection list PDF of India Post GDS 2023 Gramin Dak Sevak  ( GDS )and Postmaster.

• The applicants should visit the official website of India Post. i.e., www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
• The home page will appear. Click on your respective zone and then the postal circle.
• Then, The candidates should click on the GDS result link.
• The candidates should download the Result sheet. It will be in PDF format.
• Finally, the candidates should check their name and result in this PDF file.

How To Check India Post GDS Results 2023, Cut-off Marks?

The following are the steps to check the India Post GDS 2023 cut-off marks

• The applicants should visit the official website of India Post. i.e., www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in
• The home page will appear. Provide the required information on the login page
• After that, Choose the cut-off Marks option from the left sidebar of the main page
• One form will open on your screen, complete the form with the required details and click the submit button.
• Then the cut-off marks sheet will appear on your screen
• The candidates should Download and save the cut-off marks for future reference.

Selection Criteria For India Post GDS  Results 2023:

The Selection Criteria for India Post GDS 2023 Gramin Dak Sevak and Post Master are below.

• The applicant will be shortlisted for engagement based on a system-generated merit list.
• The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained / conversion of Grades/points in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals.
• Passing all the Subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.
• According to their Grade, the applicants with higher marks will be selected. Kindly refer to the below table.

• For applicants having only grades subject–wise, marks will be arrived for each subject by applying  the multiplying factor 9.5
• Applicants with marks and grades in the marks sheet must apply with Marks only. If any applicant applies with grades instead of marks, his/ her application will be liable for disqualification.
• Applications submitted without complete data will be rejected.
• If an applicant uploads wrong documents/information and unnecessary documents, his / her candidature will be rejected.
• At the time of verification of documents upon shortlisting of an applicant, if the data/marks entered in the online portal are found mismatched with the original documents, his/ her candidature will be rejected even if there is a small spelling error in the name of applicant, father/mother name, etc.
• Shortlisted applicants must submit an undertaking in the format annexed as Annexure – VI regarding liability in case of furnishing fake/incorrect information/details in the form.

Communication Selection Of India Post GDS Results 2023:

• The Department will release the shortlisted applicants’ results list on its website and GDS online portal.
• The selection of the applicants will be subject to verification of the original documents by the verifying Authority chosen by the applicant at the time of application.
• After the declaration of the result, the shortlisted applicants will be informed and called for document verification through SMS on his / her registered mobile number/email.
• While attending the document verification, the shortlisted applicants should bring Original documents as listed in Annexure – VII and two sets of self-attested photocopies
• 15 days will be given to the shortlisted applicants to submit the documents for verification.
• If any applicant does not submit the documents in 15 days, his / her candidature will be rejected.
• After successful document verification, the applicant must approach the designated Engaging Authorities within 15 days.
• If the applicant fails to report to the Engaging Authority in 15 days, his / her candidature will be rejected.
• No further list of shortlisted applicants will be issued after 30th June 2023. Applications pending after this date shall not be considered.
