AFCAT Exam 2023 Overview – AFCAT Syllabus 2023: 

The AFCAT examination aims to assess a candidate’s knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for officer-level positions in the Indian Air Force. It consists of multiple-choice questions and is conducted online. The duration of the exam is two hours. Candidates who qualify for the AFCAT written examination are called for further stages of the selection process, which includes the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview, psychological tests, group tests, and medical examination. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in these stages, including the written examination.

The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) follows a specific exam pattern that candidates should be familiar with in order to prepare effectively. The exam pattern consists of various sections, duration, marking scheme, and other important details. 

The AFCAT exam is a computer-based online examination. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The AFCAT exam is divided into four sections. Ie., General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. The AFCAT exam carries a maximum of 300 marks. Each correct answer candidate will get three marks. There is a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions. The total duration of the AFCAT exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
