Goa GCET 2023: The full form of GCET is Goa Common Entrance Test. The Directorate of Technical Education conducts a state-level entrance exam once every year and accepts applications in both online and offline modes. The office accepts offline applications from applicants, while the official website of GCET accepts online applications. - The results of the GCET 2023 Exam will be released on May 17th (Wednesday). Exam Pattern of GCET 2023:
- The total time duration of the GCET 2023 exam is 6 hours. Where the exam is conducted on three subjects. They are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- The authority conducts an exam for each subject with 75 questions, and the candidates must solve them within 2 hours.
- The exam covers different topics from each subject, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Therefore, it is a 6-hour exam in total.
- The time to complete the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours).
- Each Correct answer in the exam will be awarded one mark.
- No negative marks are there in the GCET exam.
- The system will not count wrong answers or unattempted questions, as the questions are given as multiple-choice questions.
How To Download GCET 2023 Answer Key?
- Open the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa, with the URL- https://dte.goa.gov.in.
- Then it will display the home page of the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa.
- Then you must find the “Results” option and Click on it.
- Then it will display a drop-down list of options. They are GCET Results, GCET Answer key, and Diploma Results.
- Click on the “GCET Answer key”. Then it will redirect to another webpage displaying the link for the answer key GCET 2023.

GCET 2023 Counselling Process:
The Directorate of Technical Education of Goa released the GSET 2023 results on the 17th of May, 2023 and will soon notify the counselling dates for the students on its official website. The basic counselling process of GCET will be as follows:
- Initially, the student, after receiving the GCET result, has to register for the Counselling process. This process needs details like the Name, Roll number of the GCET exam, Result of the GCET exam, the Mobile number for receiving notifications about the councelling, etc.
- Then the candidate must upload all the scanned copies of the required documents.
- The candidate will be called for the document verification process. Candidates need to visit the concerned place to verify all the educational and other documents regarding their education.
- After getting their documents verified, candidates must choose the priorities of the colleges they want to join for graduation.
- The authorities will allot the seat to the candidate based on their marks in the GCET exam and the priorities they selected for the college seat.
- After receiving the final confirmation about the seat and college, they must report to the college to confirm admission.
Documents Required For GCET 2023 Counselling:
Councelling is a mandatory procedure for every candidate who passed the GCET exam and wants to join a college to pursue any graduation course. The authorities will release an official notification to announce the counselling dates for all the candidates. The documents required for any candidate to carry while attending the GCET Counselling 2023 are:
- GCET 2023 Printed Application Form
- GCET 2023 Admit Card
- The 10th class mark list or results sheet shows the student’s pass/fail status.
- 12th Class mark list or result copy clarifies the student’s pass/fail status.
- Caste Certificate to check whether he/she has any reservations about getting a seat in a good college.
- Income certificate if the candidate wants to have the reservation of an Economically weaker section to get a better college seat.
