NEET 2023 Exam Date: NEET stands for the “National Eligibility cum Entrance Test”. It is an entrance examination conducted in India. The NEET Exam 2023 notification was released on 6th March 2023. As per the notification the National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting online applications for NEET (UG) – 2023 for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India.

The online application starting date is 6th March 2023 and the last date is 6th April 2023. The exam was conducted in 13 languages. Ie.,  English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The NEET exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). There will be two sections (A and B) each with 50 questions. All candidates will take the same examination, which will last 200 minutes from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Online Application Process For NEET Exam 2023:

•  The applicants need to visit the official website of NEET at https://neet.nta.nic.in
• The home page will appear, here click on the NEET UG 2023 registration link.
• If you are not a registered user, click on the ‘New Registration’ and read the instructions.
• After that, enter the necessary details like the candidate’s name, mother & father’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, password, security pin, etc….
• Now, click on the “Click here to log in” link.
• The login page will open, here enter your “Application Number”, “Password”, and “Security Pin” and then click on the “Sign In” button.

• The NEET exam 2023 application form will open on your screen.
• The registration process will pre-fill the details in the application form, and users cannot change them.
• The form is divided into 12 sections, you need to fill in all the sections carefully.
• Now, verify the details carefully. Once you submit the NEET application form, you cannot change the details.

• Next, click on “Upload your recent documents” select the files to be uploaded and then click on “Next”.

How To Download NEET Exam Admit Card 2023?

• Visit the official website of the NEET at https://neet.nta.nic.in.
• After visiting the home page, click on the “NEET UG 2023 Admit Card” link.
• Now, you will redirect to the candidate login page.
• Here, you can sign in by using your “Application Number”, “Password” and “Security Code”.
• Then the NEET Exam 2023 admit card will appear on the screen.
• You have to download the admit card and take out the printout for future reference.

NEET 2023 Exam Date:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially scheduled NEET UG 2023 on May 7th, 2023. The registration period began on March 6th and ended on April 6th of 2023. On May 3rd, 2023, the NEET 2023 exam authorities announced the admit card, and candidates must download it before the exam date.

• The candidate should visit the official website of the NEET at https://neet.nta.nic.in.
• After opening the home page, click on the “NEET (UG) 2023 Score Card” link
• On the next page, again click on the “NEET (UG) 2023 Score Card” link.
• A pop-up window will appear on the screen and click on the “OK” button. 
• Now, you will be redirected to an external website.
• The view result window will open, here enter your “Application Number”, “Date of Birth” and “Security Pin” and then click on the “Submit” button.

• Then the NEET Exam 2023 results will appear on the screen.

Counselling Process For NEET Exam 2023:

After declaring the NEET exam results, the authorities begin the counselling process to allocate seats to successful candidates based on their merit and performance. NEET UG 2023 Counseling dates will shortly be announced by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and will be made available on the official website of MCC at https://www.mcc.nic.in. The following is the general outline of the NEET counselling process.

NEET Counseling General Process:

• Firstly, the candidates who qualify for the NEET exam need to register themselves for counselling on the MCC official website at   https://www.mcc.nic.in. They must provide their personal and academic details during registration.
• Candidates must fill in their preferred choices of colleges and courses after registration. They can select multiple options based on their preference. It’s essential to carefully consider the order of preference as it plays a crucial role in seat allocation.
• Based on the merit rank, availability of seats, and choices filled by the candidates, the counselling authority will conduct the seat allotment process. The authorities conduct multiple rounds to allocate the college and course to the candidates and inform them about their allotment.
• After the allotment of a seat, candidates are required to report to the allotted college within the specified time period. They must carry the mandatory documents for verification and pay the admission fees to confirm their seat.
• Candidates have to submit their original documents for verification at the allotted college. The documents typically include the NEET scorecard, counselling registration form,  admit card, mark sheet, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable), etc.
• After the document verification process, candidates need to complete the admission formalities by submitting the required fees and completing any other necessary procedures specified by the college.
• After the first round of counseling, the authorities may conduct subsequent rounds, known as the second round and mop-up round, to fill the remaining seats if there are any vacant seats. Candidates who did not get a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade their allotted seats can participate in these rounds.
