CTET Notification 2023: Pre-Admit Card, Exam Date, Registration

Ctet.nic.in: The CTET means Central Teacher Eligibility Test. This Test will be conducted by the Department of Higher Education, Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ). The Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test ( CTET ) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi. This article will discuss the  CTET July 2023 online application procedure, the last date, and other information.

Quick Update: The CTET Pre-Admit Card has been released on the official website. You can view the date & centre for the examination that you attend. As this is not the official Hall Ticket, the candidate can download the original admit card from the 18th of August 2023.

How To Check CTET Pre-Admit Card (View Date & City)?

  • Open the official website i.e, https://ctet.nic.in.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the “Candidate Activity” section.
  • Now click on the “View Date & City (Pre Admit Card) for CTET Aug 2023” to redirect to another page.

  • Here you need to enter your Application No, Date of Birth, Enter Security PIN and click on “SUBMIT” button.
  • Now you can check the CTET Pre-Admit Card 2023.

CTET July 2023 Online Application Process @ ctet.nic.in:

If anyone wants to apply for CTET online, firstly, they must register on the CTET portal. The following are the steps to register for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2023.

  • The candidates should visit the official website of CTET 2023. i.e., https://ctet.nic.in
  • The home page will appear. You must click the “Apply For CTET July 2023” link there.

  • On the next page, again click on ‘Apply for CTET July 2023″, which is under the ‘Publish Date’
  • Now, the new screen will appear; you must click on the “New Registration” Option. Read the instructions carefully, scroll down the page, and click on the “Click here to Proceed” link.

  • The registration form will open; you must fill in all the necessary details like the “Personal Details”, “Contact Details”, and “Permanent Address”.

  • After filling all the details, you have to choose a password. The password must be 8 to 13 characters long.
  • And also, you have to select the “Security Question” from the drop-down list and enter the answer.
  • Finally, you must enter the “Security Pin” shown on the screen and click the “Submit” button.

  • After submission, a Registration Number or Application number gets generated.
  • Note down the Registration number or Application Number for subsequent login, system generated Registration number or Application Number, and chosen password will be used.
  • Then the candidate should upload their scanned documents. After uploading the documents, you must pay the application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
  • Finally, the candidates must take the printout of the confirmation page for record and keep it for their reference.
Online Uploading Of Scanned Image Details @ ctet.nic.in:
  • Uploading of Scanned Photo and Signature are mandatory
  • Upload Scanned Photo and Signature in JPG / JPEG format
  • The Size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 KB to 100 KB.
  • The size of the scanned Signature should be between 3 KB to 30 KB.
  • The image Dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height)
  • The signature image dimension should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height)

CTET July 2023 Exam Pattern Details @ ctet.nic.in:

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each carries one mark, and there will be no negative marking. There will be two papers on CTET. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V, and paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels must appear in both papers.

Paper I ( for classes I to V) primary stage, duration of examination is “Two and half hours”. The details are given below.

The examination fee details are given below. GST, as applicable, will be charged extra by the Bank.

Central Teaching Eligibility Test 2023 Last Date Details @ ctet.nic.in:

The Central Board of Secondary Education released its official notification regarding Central Teaching Eligibility Test 2023 on 25th April 2023. In that official notification, they mentioned that the starting date of the online registration procedure for the CTET is 27th April 2023, and the last date for submitting the online application form is 26th May 2023. The last date for submission of the fee is 26th May 2023.

The candidates should remember that the last date to submit the Central Teacher Eligibility Test  ( CTET ) application form is on 26th May 2023. After that date, the CBSE board will not accept any application forms from the applicants. And also, the Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) announced that the online correction dates are between 29th May 2023 to 2nd June 2023.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test – Online)  mode between July 2023 to August 2023. The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CTET July 2023 notification on 25th April 2023.
